Pruune Consulting Ltd, was created on the 1st of August 2017 as a consulting company to assist companies in becoming more profitable. The vision was to show companies how to reduce their cost base through various initiatives.


Some examples include reducing cost by procuring better via tendering, bench-marking, negotiations and e-auction. Working with companies towards optimizing how commodities are consumed. Performing network designs to reduce companies transportation/warehousing spends. Conducting inventory analysis to reduce stock, prevent excess and obsolescence, improve first pick availability and reduce picking/dispatch errors.

HIstory

Bassey​ Duke our CEO has a diverse background in Procurement, Supply Chain and Logistics. He holds an MBA from DIT and an MEng (Mechanical Engineering) from Loughborough University (UK). He is currently a member of the John Maxwell team, which is the largest leadership development program in the world.


Prior to setting up Pruune in 2017, Bassey has over 15+ years of experience at senior positions in Global multinationals (Amcor, Eaton, IMI Plc, IMI Critical Engineering) leading regional/global procurement teams. Over the course of his career, Bassey has saved over 30 million Euros to the bottom line of the companies he has worked for.


Bassey currently volunteers in various organizations including the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) Republic of Ireland,  Chartered Institute of Transportation and Logistics Ireland and the MBA association of Ireland (Eastern Chapter).
